The Eisenhower dollar, minted from 1971-1978, was America's first "space" coin. The reverse of the coin is an adaptation of the Apollo 11 insignia. The coin is 40 percent silver and was never in circulation.
The "First Man on the Moon" stamp was the first large-size commemorative stamp issued in America. The master die for this stamp accompanied the astronauts to the moon and back.
